Armed Forces Week is approaching, and at South Western Railway we’re proud to recognise the veterans, reservists, and serving personnel who are part of our railway community.
On Reserves Day, 24 June, our SWR SERVED network will host a celebration at London Waterloo between 0930 and 1230, joined by SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, along with a pipes and drums band. Customers passing through the station will be able to enjoy the event and learn more about the important role reservists play both in the military and within our organisation.
This year’s National Armed Forces Day takes place in Aldershot, right in the heart of our network. Our teams are working closely with Rushmoor Borough Council to help ensure smooth journeys for everyone travelling to and from the event.
