With the 30th Arterio being introduced, we are now operating over 390 daily Arterio services and serving all 96 stations on our suburban network. Since May, we have quadrupled the number of Arterios in service and increased our capacity by 20% or more on some suburban routes.
This also means that for the 135,000 customers who come through Waterloo on weekdays, the additional capacity, reliability, and comfort make their commute better.
Our colleagues also enjoy working the Arterios and have seen first-hand how these modern trains are making a difference for customers.
The training programme has matched the pace of the Arterio roll-out and training for Drivers, Guards, and Rail Operators all surpassed the 300 mark by November.
Teams working behind-the-scenes like our Endorsement team and Engineering teams at depots also continue to carry out essential work to ensure Arterios are ready to enter passenger service and that these new units keep performing well.
